Re-homing a stray dog

All stray dogs collected by the council are held in kennels for seven days waiting for the owner to claim it. After the seven days has expired the kennels will then try to re-home the dog.

Before re-homing, the kennel staff may visit the home of the potential owner to ensure that they are able to look after the dog properly. The dog will also be microchipped with the new owners details. Visit West End Kennels or call on 01449 737641.
