Cats Generally, the Council does not deal with cats. we may be able to offer advice on deterring cats from your garden, although  the Council does not have any powers to deal with your neighbours cats if it fouls in your garden. The Council cannot collect stray or feral cats and cannot take them in for re-homing. For further advice please contact:

Other animals, lost or found Currently, St Edmundsbury Borough Council only have a statutory duty to collect stray dogs. If you find any other stray animals such as rabbits or cats please contact the RSPCA for advice on collection. 

Dangerous dogs The Council and the Police can investigate allegations of dangerous dogs under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991.
