Vision 2031

Vision 2031 is a comprehensive plan to guide the overall direction of future service provision and management of growth in the borough for the next 20 years and beyond. You can look at the documents and supporting information by clicking on the links below for three documents we have produced for Bury St Edmunds, Haverhill and the rural areas.

Next steps

The Vision 2031 Preferred Options Consultation took place between 1 March and 30 April 2012. The next steps are that final drafts of the documents will be worked up for a final period of consultation in autumn 2012. The documents will then be submitted to the Planning Inspectorate for an independent examination into the proposals. If the documents are found to be acceptable the council will then adopt them and they will become part of the statutory planning policy for the borough. If you have any queries on the process please contact LDF@stedsbc.gov.uk or call 01284 757368.
