Proposed enhancement scheme, St Andrew's Street South, Bury St Edmunds
Following consultation, highway enhancement works have been programmed to improve St Andrew’s Street South, between its junction with Risbygate Street/Brentgovel Street and its junction with Woolhall Street, the main link between the new development on the cattlemarket site and the prime retail area of the town centre. The road serves a number of needs as it is a key route for pedestrians, cyclists, deliveries, taxi and private hire vehicles, as well as a public transport interchange. The enhancements include the provision of new loading bays and changes to the layout and surface of the road.
