Westgate Street, proposed waiting restrictions
Double yellow lines have been introduced across the entrance to Heaton Mews in Westgate Street to improve visibility for residents when exiting onto Westgate Street from those properties.
Four parking bays have also been introduced, two on either side of the double yellow lines. The signs for these parking bays will be erected shortly to restrict the bays to one hour limited waiting. The bays in this street are situated within the residents parking permit scheme operating in the area and, as with the bays on the opposite side of the road, resident permit holders will be exempt from the limited waiting restriction.
