The council welcomes petitions and recognises that petitions are one way in which people can let us know their concerns.
As part of the Local Democracy, Economic Development and Construction Act 2009 the council has a Petition Scheme in operation.
The council's e-petitions system is now in place, however paper petitions are still accepted. Petitions submitted to the council must be about a service that the council provides and include a clear and concise statement covering the subject of the petition.
