Neighbourhood parking schemes are designated areas allowing residents to park in streets near their homes by purchasing a permit. There are currently ten neighbourhood parking schemes in Bury St Edmunds and one in Haverhill.
You are eligible to apply for a permit if your residential address is within one of the zones below. Some schemes allow two permits per household where there are sufficient parking spaces. Disabled badge holders are eligible for a free permit. Senior citizens living in a neighbourhood parking area, who do not own a car, can apply for a free permit for use by their visitors.
