| | | War memorials and monuments | St Edmundsbury Borough Council is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the five main memorials, including War memorials, in Bury St Edmunds and Haverhill, these are: - Bury Cemetery, Bury St Edmunds;
- The Boer War Memorial, Cornhill, Bury St Edmunds;
- War Memorial, Angel Hill, Bury St Edmunds;
- Haverhill War Memorial, Haverhill Cemetery; and
- Haverhill St Saviours Hospital, Fornham Road.
The structures are kept in a safe condition, with all inscriptions legible. The monuments and their surrounds are kept clean and tidy, including any grounds, with special attention given to them prior to Remembrance Day.
