Inscriptions

We welcome personalised and informal inscriptions such as nicknames or terms such as 'Dad', as long as they are not offensive.

Materials

As long as the memorial keeps to our regulations, we encourage creative memorial designs.

However, we need to enforce some restrictions such as forbidding the use of glass, whether as vases, jam jars or bottles as the water in them can freeze causing the glass to break and become dangerous.

We allow photo-plaques in the memorial.

We do not allow plastic fencing as it is difficult to maintain and can be easily broken.

We do not allow memorials containing metal fencing as the fences can rust and may injure visitors who accidentally catch themselves on them.
