St Edmundsbury Borough Council is currently running a Food Hygiene Award scheme for food businesses within the borough. The scheme aims to encourage a greater interest in food hygiene amongst food handlers in the area - rewarding business where standards are high, and also enabling the public to identify these premises.
Who can enter the scheme?

- staff canteens, etc.
How do you enter the scheme?

- food handling practices;
- training provisions; and
- management controls.
If you achieve the Award, what do you get?
- You will receive a certificate and window sticker to display on your premises. This will increase public confidence in your establishment, assuring customers of your commitment to good hygiene standards.
