Public consultation event 16 September 2009
The East of England Regional Assembly (EERA) is holding the first stage of public consultation on its review of the East of England Plan between 2 September and 24 November 2009.
The consultation will primarily seek responses to four scenarios for housing growth across the region.
The responses and evidence provided through the public consultation will help EERA to develop a draft revision to the East of England Plan including housing targets to 2031.
The Regional Assembly is holding a public meeting to explain more about the public consultation and allow you to take part in the regional debate on how to plan for new homes over the next 20 years and related issues such as the economy, transport, climate change and the environment.
The panel will include:
- Adrian Cannard, Head of Planning and Housing, EERA;
- Councillor Guy McGregor, Portfolio Holder for Roads, Transport and Planning, Suffolk County Council; and
- others to be confirmed.
The meeting will take place on 16 September from 7pm at Endeavour House, Suffolk County Council, Russell Road, Ipswich.
