Compost Awareness Week

Compost Awareness Week is a series of events running from 4 - 10 May 2008 coordinated by the Compost Association to raise awareness of home composting and peat free compost.

In the UK one third of an average household bin can be home composted as well as all the waste that can be added to your compost bin. For tips on how to compost your waste please see Charlie Dimmock's Top Tips (Word 4.4Mb).

This years theme for compost week is 'Green up the Environment' and there are many activities happening across the country.
