The council is committed to supporting voluntary organisations and community groups which operate within St Edmundsbury and whose services support the councils aims and objectives. The councils grants schemes include:

 Kedington British Legion Hall

Rural Initiatives Grant Scheme (RIGS)

Capital grants awarded from £250 to £10,000 towards community projects. For more information, please follow the link above.

We also have several grants available for specific projects as part of our Rural Action Plan. Follow the link for more information.

Core funding:

To help voluntary and community organisations with their running costs. Examples include The Citizens Advice Bureau, The Volunteer Centres, and a local history group.

Grants for less than £250:

This currently includes annual grants to resident associations.
