After cremation Cremation Garden of Remembrance: This is an area within the lawn section which has been specially landscaped to provide a tranquil area for everyone to rest and incorporates various options for the disposal of cremated remains and commemoration. There is a choice of interments in vaults (Sanctum II) or loose interment of remains together with a vase memorial.
| |
Sanctum II Memorial: The memorial and underground vault has been designed to be a fitting and dignified resting place for two urns or caskets of cremated remains. A sloping vase block seals the vault and a granite tablet is secured into the sloping recess. This granite tablet can be inscribed with your personal message. A flower container is incorporated in the design.
| |
Memorial kerb vases: These vase memorials are set alongside the path in the garden and have a memorial tablet and flower container incorporated in the design. There is a scattering area personal to each vase in the grass verge.
| |
Chapel Cremation Garden: This area is in the old part of the Cemetery on the site of the old Chapel near the War memorial. Each grave holds two caskets of cremated remains. Memorials of the desk style only are permitted, but the colour and type of stone can be of the family’s choice. The only remaining graves are reserved in this section.
