Opening hours over the Christmas and New Year

West Suffolk House will close at 4pm on Friday 23 December. On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 28, 29 and 30 December the office will be open between 9am and 4pm. Our Haverhill office will also be open the same hours between Christmas and New Year. (Both offices are closed on the bank holidays Monday 26, Tuesday 27 December and Monday 2 January).

We are back to normal office hours from Tuesday 3 January.

Haverhill council offices refurbishment

Refurbishment work has started on the council offices in Lower Downs Slade. The contractors are managing the work to cause the minimum of disruption to visitors. The initial phase should last about six weeks. The offices remain open as usual for both borough council services and for the services offered by the Citizens' Advice Bureau, the Haverhill Volunteer Centre, 3CT and HAVO.
