Babergh is a largely attractive and prosperous District in the southern part of Suffolk and has a long border with the county of Essex. Whilst it remains very rural, it is within close and convenient distance of London and the Continent. |

The district has a population of approximately 136,200 and is largely rural in character. It stretches from the Stour Valley/Suffolk border in the north, towards the Chelmer Valley and Chelmsford in the South. |

This is one of the largest district council areas in England, but it is also one of the most sparsely populated. Much of the area is rural, given over to agriculture and heathland. Waveney District Council - Waveney is the most easterly district in Britain situated in north-east Suffolk and within the East of England Region. Visitors and residents value the outstanding quality of life of the area, its coastal resorts, beautiful market towns, the countryside and The Broads. The district is a mixture of urban and rural areas covering 143 square miles with an attractive beach coastline stretching for over 16 miles and an estimated total population of 116,500. |

Bid4Bury - Town Centre management for Bury St Edmunds Bury St Edmunds formed it's own Town Centre Management (TCM) in 2003. It has always had the objectives of focusing on market forces and shifts, competition and the overall objective of keeping and enhancing Bury St Edmunds unique town centre as an attractive, vibrant and prosperous place to live and work. One of the main projects was to bring a Business Improvement District (BID) to Bury St Edmunds, where businesses have direct control of their trading environment, additional services for the town and desires that they want to help build business within our town centre. Bid4Bury now means that they have sustainable funding under the management of businesses to make sure these projects as outlined in the business plan come to Bury St Edmunds. |

Haverhill Town Council - Haverhill Town Council are here to provide the community of Haverhill with the best in local arts and leisure, whilst campaigning to get the best services and facilities for the town.
