If you live in or near Bury St Edmunds local buses arrive at West Suffolk House about every 20 minutes between 7.30 and 9.10am and in the afternoon between 3.30 and 6pm. Between those times there is a bus arriving at West Suffolk House at 31 and 51 minutes past the hour.
The circular route for the 80 bus is – St Andrews Street South, Bury St Edmunds bus station, Bury St Edmunds railway station, Mildenhall Road Estate, Howard Estate and then stopping outside West Suffolk House on Western Way, before returning to the town centre.
The number 83 bus is also a circular route from the town centre which stops at West Suffolk College in Out Risbygate. There is a footpath from Newmarket Road to the West Suffolk House staff entrance on Beetons Way.
From the Bus Station to West Suffolk House:
- Bus 83 leaves Bus Station at 5 minutes past the hour and takes 10 minutes
- Bus 80 leaves Bus Station at 12 minutes past the hour and takes 21 minutes;
- Bus 81 leaves Bus Station at 32 minutes past the hour and takes 22 minutes.
From West Suffolk House to the Bus Station:
- Bus 83 leaves WSH at 15 minutes past the hour and takes 17 minutes into town;
- Bus 80 leaves WSH at 33 minutes past the hour and takes 10 minutes into town;
- Bus 81 leaves WSH at 53 minutes past the hour and takes 10 minutes into town.
