Proposals for where new homes should be built in St Edmundsbury's villages will be discussed by the council over the next few weeks. Public consultation is due to begin on 12 April.

St Edmundsbury 1.9% Council Tax increase confirmedThe lowest Council Tax rise in the county was confirmed by a meeting of St Edmundsbury’s full Council. The rise of 1.9% is lower than the latest Consumer Price Index (CPI) level of inflation (2.9%) and Retail Price Index (RPI) at 2.4%.
