A service of praise and thanksgiving is being held at St Edmundsbury Cathedral at 3.30pm on Sunday 14 October, to give thanks for Suffolk's harvest.
The Mayor of St Edmundsbury, Cllr Tim Marks, will join guests from across the county. He said
"The harvest in its widest sense may not have been all that was hoped for in what has been a difficult year for many. Nonetheless, coming together to give thanks for what we have reminds us of our blessings. This age old event is a moving occasion and I look forward to sharing it with our community"
A harvest lunch will be held at the Athenaeum from 12.30pm. Tickets cost £18.50 on a first come first served basis. Please contact Ruth Pusterla, Mayor's Secretary, West Suffolk House, Western Way, Bury St Edmunds IP33 3YU 01284 ruth.pusterla@stedsbc.gov.uk
