Up to 200 British Red Hatters will be visiting Bury St Edmunds on Sunday 7 October, to see the town and take tea at the Athenaeum. They will be arriving from all over England and from Sweden, Germany and France.
They will arrive in three double-decker buses, to be taken on the largest guided tour the town's registered guides have held to date.
They will then enjoy a tea party at the Athenaeum.
The British Red Hatters are holding their national convention in the county.
Sharon Fairweather, Tourism Officer for St Edmundsbury said,
"We are delighted to welcome the ladies to Bury St Edmunds. We regularly see members for the Christmas Fayre and we are very pleased that they have chosen to come back to see more of the town."
